Design-Led Cabins in the Blue Mountains Inspired by the American Southwest
Mt Kanimbla Retreats was a collection of two couples-only cabins set across 36 acres of private bushland in the Blue Mountains. The property began as a small bed and breakfast before being completely reimagined into a destination stay focused on design, privacy and atmosphere.
Each cabin was styled to connect with the surrounding landscape, using natural materials, expansive windows and warm interiors to create spaces that felt both luxurious and grounded in nature.
The retreat became known for its romantic cabins, mineral plunge pools, fireplaces and sweeping escarpment views. It was the kind of place people came to properly switch off for a few days.
Mt Kanimbla Retreats was sold in 2025 after several incredible years, marking the completion of one of the Logan Brae Collection’s most significant projects.
