Brand Spotlight: Fenton and Fenton

I have bought a few too many things from Fenton and Fenton, and I feel absolutely zero shame about it.

Their stuff is colourful, playful, and properly fun. Not “a safe little hint of colour” fun. Real personality. The kind of pieces that walk into a room and instantly make it feel like someone actually lives there, someone with taste, confidence, and a sense of humour.

For Sunny Siren, our little beach shack, it was the perfect vibe.

We have their dining chairs and stools, lamps, and bench seats, and they just slid into the space like they were made for it. The shack already had its own mood, sunny, a bit wild, a bit nostalgic, but it needed that pop. Those unexpected colours that make everything feel alive. Fenton and Fenton delivered exactly that.

What makes them special

They understand joy in design.
So many interiors end up looking “nice”, but flat. Fenton and Fenton is the opposite. Their pieces bring a lift. They make a space feel happy without turning it into a circus. That balance is hard to nail.

They do colour in a way that feels collected, not chaotic.
There’s a difference between colourful and clashing. Their palette choices feel intentional, like they’ve done the work so you can be brave without regretting it later. Perfect for anyone who wants a home that feels vibrant, but still styled.

They make statement pieces that still feel livable.
This is why I keep going back. Their furniture and lighting is not just “pretty to look at”, it’s functional, it gets used, it holds up to real life. In a holiday space especially, you need pieces that can handle people actually living in them, not tiptoeing around them.

Everything becomes a talking point.
Guests always notice the Fenton and Fenton pieces. They are the “Where did you get that?” items. The ones that become part of the memory of the space, because they stand out and make the whole room feel more considered.

Why I’ve loved them so much for Sunny Siren

Sunny Siren needed personality, and not in a coastal cliche way.

It needed contrast. It needed punch. It needed colour that felt like sunshine bouncing off water. Their chairs and stools brought that playful energy straight into the heart of the shack. The lamps added warmth and mood, especially at night when everything goes golden and soft. The bench seating tied it all together, practical, beautiful, and grounding.

It was the difference between “cute beach shack” and “this place has a point of view”.

The bottom line

Fenton and Fenton is one of those brands that makes me feel brave in design.

When a space feels a bit too safe, or a bit too beige, or like it’s missing that “spark”, they are my go-to. Because their pieces do not just fill a room. They give it a personality.

And at Sunny Siren, that was exactly what we needed.

If you spot any of the pieces in our Shop the Look page, they’re there for one reason. I actually bought them, used them, loved them, and I’d do it again.
